2009 Nissan GTR Power Enterprise - Power Up!

How Do You Turn Nissan's Supercar Into A Super-Duper Car? Just Ask Power Enterprise

On the exhaust side of things, a Power Enterprise Super Sonic titanium exhaust system helps increase power and response thanks to its larger diameter piping. To free up even more space, Ono-san fabricated a custom aluminum radiator overflow tank, which opens up space for the oil-tanks for the superchargers. These are connected to a tiny cooler that has been fitted in the center of the grille, all helping to keep the blowers operating at lower temperatures. Denso number 8 iridium spark plugs have been fitted along with the Power Enterprise P-map piggyback ECU, which has the job of managing the fuel and ignition maps, as well as the boost control. As a final touch the engine cover has been painted in Power Enterprise's signature blue, matching all the silicon joints of the piping. This quad-charger system boosts power to 600hp in the current mild state of tune (if you can call it that), which is up 120 hp from stock figures, but it's the torque curve that impresses the most with a massive 542 lb/ft! This set-up can theoretically flow up to 800hp, but Power Enterprise is shooting for a target range of 700 horses but are currently held back by the capabilities of the transmission and fueling, areas that are being addressed right now.

With such extensive research and design on the mechanical side of things, the exterior has been left pretty simple. To boost the car's already aggressive design, Power Enterprise has gone for a set of 20-inch Yokohama ADVAN Racing RSD wheels, a model that will soon be released in a true GT-R wheel fitment. The stock Dunlop SP Sport 600 tires are the rubber of choice for the R35, the ones that are used for all the record attempts on the Nordschleife. The stock Bilstein suspension remains, but has been joined by a Power Enterprise height adjustable conversion which allows the car to be dropped significantly for a more menacing stance. The stock look continues in the interior, which features grey leather seats with electrical adjustment.

For those preferring a simpler approach to more power, Power Enterprise can already boost the GT-R's output to 560hp thanks to their P-Map ECU, piping kit and air intakes. With the addition of the full-titanium exhaust system and a set of upgraded turbine actuators, power increases to 600hp. The Quad-Charger package, once fully-developed, will be the ultimate from Power Enterprise with the only questionable area of concern being the reliability of the gearbox. There are a lot of companies working hard to come up with clutch-pack upgrades; Pfitzner Performance Gearboxes in Australia have recently released upgraded first gear kits. With 542 lb/ft. available now, the finished kit will need some pretty hefty upgrades to the driveline to cope with all that twist. We can't wait to see the finished 700hp package!
