With the help of a Bomex aero kit, the Hirata Engineering Y32 looks to take out taxicabs a
That's also the speed at which Hirata-san prefers to travel. As the sun drops into the late afternoon, he tells me that he must be on his way before the on-coming choke of Tokyo rush hour. With more than 800 hp under the hood, transmissions don't last longer than three street races. And jerky stop-and-go traffic can be intolerable. For some reason, I'm sure the other cars will be happy to get out of Gloria's way.

The Nissan Cedric: Turbocharged Japanese Luxury
Not just any car can keep up with Hirata Engineering's 800hp Gloria, but one that can in style is the Bomex Cedric. Like the Gloria, the Nissan Cedric is a turbocharged four-door sedan. It doesn't take much to boost the factory horsepower rating, and it's only taken a Blitz SBC boost controller, exhaust, and intercooler to bump the number on this to over 400 hp. I'm not the greatest at math, but that sounds infinitely better than anything we can do to the Q45 over here. And even with the Cedric's cushy interior left intact, the car hustles.
