Even with our bad eyesight, this Silvia can be spotted from any distance. Every body-kit piece from the front bumper to the trunk is full carbon fiber, fabricated by the Yashio Factory solely for this S15. Trust us when we say that this body kit is so mean that it'd make Terry Bradshaw whimper, so fat that it'll make Anna Nicole Smith look anorexic, and so light that Felicia will seem like a heavyweight. With the front and rear fenders widened, an ample amount of space is available to house 17x9.5 Advan wheels and rubber. Usually the S15 wears a full set of gold RGs but in these images they're mismatched with bronze Model 5s up front.
And yes, there's the signature pink paint. Waddup wit dat, you ask? The entire Super Street staff was wondering the exact same thing. Well, everyone except for Jonny. He just thought it was a tribute to his elementary school wardrobe. So at the risk of getting our asses kicked, we asked Okamura-san what the dealio with the pink was. From what he said, it's easy to recognize which manufacturer or tuner built a car because of the color. Endless has blue, Top Fuel's color is white, and so on. Okamura-san wanted something different, a color that couldn't be confused with another tuner, and paint that would undoubtedly scream Yashio Factory. Pink was the one color that met every requirement Okamura-san was looking for.
Kinda hard to believe that pink wasn't being used by anyone else, huh? Well, not really. For those who noticed and are wondering what the huge "Super 840" on the car stands for, it's time for a crash course in the Japanese language. "Ya" is one of the many ways to say the number 8, "shi" means "4," and 0 is simply "O." There you go: Ya-shi-o. Now go hit on the cute Nihonjin girl in your class with all the Japanese you've learned in the past three seconds.
A few years back, we heard someone say that Brett "Hitman" Hart was the only wrestler who was man enough to wear pink. That makes Okamura-san and the Yashio Factory the only tuners with enough testicular fortitude to have all their cars pink. However, it requires more than a little grit to be able to flaunt such a traditionally girly color, it takes an unwavering belief in just how kick-ass you are. The Yashio Factory crew backed up their unique color statement by handing out cans of whoop-ass to anyone on the track. So maybe Jonny is more masculine than we give him credit for. We all have hope, but he most likely is not.
