Editor's Note: "Extreme Exposure" will feature bigger photos, more pages and more exposure than our conventional Rides entry. To attain this high-level of exposure one must have a worthy car, clean photos (preferably slides) of the inside and outside details of the car and enough info to make it all happen. We are trying to increase the quality of Rides and this section could easily see a vehicle graduate to full feature status. The most determining factory for such an upgrade is photography. Please don't use disposable cameras. The number and quality of the entries will determine how often Extreme Exposure will appear.

1993 Eagle Talon TSI
Casey's '93 Talon is ready to see some action, whether it's at the strip or on the highway. He's gone and made a monster with a 16G turbo with ported and ExtrudeHone-processed housings. The exhaust manifold has been ported and polished as well. Not far behind is an HKS external wastegate, manual boost control and an HKS turbo timer. Fresh air is breathed in through a K&N air filter while spent gases are expelled through 3-inch Buschur Racing downpipes, a 3-inch custom exhaust and a Max Speed muffler. Casey's Talon also sports an ACT racing clutch. On the suspension side of things, this Eagle has been treated to a strut tower brace, Eibach springs and 18-inch Konig Tantrums fitted with Nitto Extreme 225/40 tires. Custom PPG paint with custom stripe and graphics accent the exterior along with a Saleen SSR wing originally designed for a Mustang. Interior accents include Momo carbon fiber pedals, Levoc carbon shifter, X2 Racing steering wheel, white-face gauges and the obligatory boost gauge.
1971 Toyota Corolla
Michael and partner, Rob Hussey, have a lot to be proud of with this '71 Corolla "Daily Driven Demon." Michael and Rob have modified this car together, swapping out the stock 1600cc motor in exchange for a 2000cc bored out .060 over. The Daily Driven Demon runs a ported 2TC head with match-ported Cannon manifold with funny fog delivered by a NOS system jetted to 150 hp. The powerplant also sports a Norris 368's camshaft, a set of Norris lifters and pushrods and an HKS Series One geardrive. Ignition duties are handled by an MSD 6AL with MSD coil. Gear selection is handled by a stock tranny outfitted with a Centerforce 2 clutch. The gearbox spins a 10-bolt posi differential with .430 gears. Rolling stock consists of Weld Racing aluminum and Nitto performance rubber. All of these mods combine to allow low 12-second runs down the 1320. Michael and Rob also have a turbocharged Toyota coupe waiting in the wings, tentatively dubbed "Praise Jesus #2."

1991 Honda Accord
Personalizing a car isn't quite complete without a big list of body mods and a fresh coat of paint. Nathan's ghost white Accord is no exception. The Accord has a Xenon body kit with shaved moldings, door handles, antenna and custom fitted license plate frame. In addition to the body kit, Nathan has also fitted a '93 four-door trunk lid to his car. Under the hood, this Accord sports a Matrix intake, NGK wires and plugs, a white valve cover, Airmass show chrome headers and an RS*R cat-back exhaust. Suspension is handled by Ground Control coilovers and KYB adjustable struts. The Honda rolls on 17-inch Kaotik Psycho wheels. Nathan gives props to his girlfriend, Jeannine, for her support in building up his '91 Accord.

1994 Mazda MX-6
Kyrill's ongoing MX-6 project is rife with go-fast parts, such as a 65-hp shot dry manifold NOS kit. He has also fitted a GReddy exhaust, Vitek wires, HKS P-Flow and an Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley to his Mazda. Handling has been improved with Tokico Illumina shocks, Eibach springs, Addco rear anti-sway bar and a set of 17-inch Konig Impacts riding on Nitto 501 tires. Stopping duties are handled by a set of Powerstop cross-drilled rotors teamed with carbon metallic pads. Body customization is complete with an Erebuni Shogun kit and a GTR wing. Kyrill is never done with the car, but is getting ready to move on and start working on a '98 1.8T A-4 or a '98 Prelude.
