East Coast Euro-tuner Hershel Zelcer is one of the luckiest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. His Cargraphic USA presidential title alone makes him one cool cat. Combined with the fact that his Audi/Porsche tuning company catalog is thicker than the L.L. Bean winter edition, you can bet his daily driver has some of the coolest aftermarket parts available for Porsche owners.

Yeah, I know... it's hard to believe that poor old Hershel has to drive a Porsche everyday. Well, this S edition Boxster is more than just an amazing sports car-it's also an amazing business card, too! Outfitted with the latest from Cargraphic, this drop-top Euro makes you want to go out and drive through the twisties with wild abandon. Hershel has devoted his life to making these mean machines even meaner thanks, in part, to Cargraphic.

Hershel's Boxster is definitely something to drool about considering it has a custom design that has been solely tweaked by Cargraphic-which, by the way, is one of the only Porsche-recognized companies that designs aftermarket components for Porsche cars.

Hershel's powerful 3.2L flat-six engine gives you a reason to live as you shoot from corner to corner. Cargraphic performance products added include a set of Cargraphic camshafts, a full stainless steel exhaust system complete with 100-cell cats, and a set of tubular high-flow headers. Also installed for improved horsepower are a Cargraphic intake system and re-mapped ECU, which make this Porsche not only look and sound even sportier, but also put some distance between Hershel and any other S on the road. The transmission in Hershel's Boxster S is the standard six-speed manual gearbox with a few enhancements via Cargraphic, edging the Euro to a roaring top speed of 167mph and allowing 0-60 performances in less than five seconds.

I asked Hershel about the brakes on his Boxster and he told me quite simply, "The Boxster S has a system that uses four-piston monobloc-fixed calipers and internally vented and cross-drilled discs, offering immediate and effortless response. There is also a special cooling system that increases the durability of the factory installed Brembo braking system, even under the heaviest of use. These red babies brilliantly bring the car down from 60 to 0 in just 2.7 seconds!"

Moving on, I asked about the other red monsters, while pointing down at the wheels on the Boxster. Hershel confirmed it-Cargraphic Racing Wheels that measure 19x10.5 inches in the rear and 19x8 inches in the front. An up-close look reveals a three-piece design that sports a unique polished and powdercoated finish. The entire package rides on Dunlop SP 9000s.

And there's more. The guys at Cargraphic USA installed a five-piece aero package that sports a killer front lip spoiler making the S look even meaner than it did from the factory. Inside, you can see the addition of the Cargraphic red carbon-fiber dash kit and Cargraphic aluminum pedal set.

As I said before, Hershel is one of the luckiest guys I've met. How many other guys do you know that utilizes a Porsche Red Boxster S as a calling card?
