October 2008 - Reader's Rides

Almost A Feature

Day Photography
Oct 1, 2008

Here's your chance. It's the easiest way to get in Super Street. Just send us photos of your ride to readersrides@superstreetonline.com or mail them to Super Street, c/o Readers' Rides, 6420 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90048. Be sure to send us JPEGs with at least 1500x1000 resolution at 180ppi (that should be small JPEG, medium-quality settings on most digital cameras). Don't forget to tell us your full name, where to send the prize (full mailing address and phone, no P.O. boxes), where you live and the highlights of your mods.

This month's winner, John Prisco, wins a clutch from Competition Clutch. (www.competitionclutch.com).

Ride Of The Month

Peep the JDM STI wheels, springs, rear sway bar, hood scoop, emblems and short shift kit with knob; JDM Legacy STI gauge pack; WRX TR brakes; 07 STi VF43 turbo and intercooler and fuel pump; Injen SS turbo-back exhaust; Cobb Access Port
John Says, "This is a U.S.-spec Forester STI in honor of my mom who passed away last December. I had to give up the hobby for a while after starting a family, but my mom pushed me to get the Forester done. The car is pushing 308 hp/358 ft-lb of torque at the wheels. Not too bad for the family wagon!"
We say Subaru should have brought over more STI variants like this.
