Nissan Silvia & Infiniti G35 - Where's The Brotein Ma!?

The Beardon Bartending Brothers Breakthrough Bearing Bad Buggies

We've all heard rumors about Texas. It's not to be messed with, it's the Lonestar state and something about steers and... Anyway we are proud to present you with some finely-tuned Nissans, owned by twin brothers, from deep in the heart of Texas. What's more, this marks the second time Super Street has featured twins and to celebrate we have added a special sidebar section! Get ready to be bro'n away!

When we feature cars we typically like to keep them separate, it's hard to share an equal amount of time on each car, but when they are built to standards like the Beardon's cars, it's a piece of cake. Bartenders by trade, Mark and Chris live, work and tune together. We think that's bro-tally awesome! We're not sure who took styling cues from whom, but you can definitely tell the cars were built by people with similar taste. Mark's G35 is a little more show style oriented, while Chris' 240SX has more of a hint of drift, but there's no denying the obvious similarities.

Both cars are sitting pretty on deep Work wheels. We think they liked the fat lips because it reminded them of a tequila glass rim, ready to be salted. The Beardons also agreed that a turbo was the way to go, talk about twin turbo (reallllly lame, I know)! But the similarities continue, same steering wheel, same fuel pump, same spark plugs and the list goes on. At a glance over the spec sheets you might think you were looking at the same car, or at least two cars built by the same person.

"Inspired by the JDM styling and drift scene, I wanted to build a 240SX that demands respect in both areas." Chris says about his slammed coupe. With a full Origin Aggressive kit doused in RX8 Velocity red, you can't not give props to the car. The stance and wheel fitment combined with the body modifications truly look hard. It's hard to find a car with a wild drift kit that isn't completely shattered and zip-tied on, and with this 240SX, Chris proves how classy they can be. The engine was all but forgotten with a fresh blacktop SR swap in the bay and a GReddy TD06 25g snail blowing like no tomorrow. This 240 is a straight bro-fessional quality ride.

Not to be out-balled by his brother, Mark also decided to add a custom body kit consisting of numerous parts and then smothered in Lamborghini Gallardo Arancio Borealis Metallic Pearl paint. It's definitely a head-turner when it's rolling to the bar. Matching the show with a little go, Mark decided to upgrade the tur-bro with a kit from GReddy. Two new TD05 units were installed along with complimenting components from GReddy. "I built the vehicle as a VIP drift style car to fufill my dream of owning a show-winning JDM style monster!" Mark admits. Filling the interior with gauges until there wasn't any room left Mark created a monitoring system Fort Knox would envy.

You might get the impression from looking at the cars that money came easily to the Beardons, but they worked hard to build the cars they have. Behind the parts they are enthusiasts just like us. But when the going gets tough, the bros get going! Mark shared his simple plan to increase cash flow "I poured more drinks and made more money." And that was that, take time to make some sacrifices and get something to show for it. "It takes time" Mark claims, "but the payoff is incredible and extremely rewarding." Chris adds "Time and patience pays off in the end. Be patient, patient, patient!"
