Scion Tuner Challenge 2013 - Hole Shot July 2013

We Challenge You!

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “Hey, I can build a pretty dope car”—well, now’s your chance to put up or shut up. We’ve teamed up with Scion to help in this year’s selection process for the Scion Tuner Challenge 2013, which, of course, is set to go down at this year’s SEMA Show in November. And the star of this year’s challenge will feature a car that you’ll see more of in this issue: the all-new 2014 Scion tC. Now, the exact details of the competition are still currently under development (as of press time) by Scion, as they’re relying on us to help them find the cream of the crop; that’s where you come in.

While we’ve seen plenty of ingenious builds from the “tuner” side of the car building world, Scion’s curious to see more of who’s out there, and is willing to step out from their standard field of go-to selections to find the next person/team who can take the 2014 tC to a level never thought possible. So, no matter what background you come from, whether Nissans, Hondas, Euros, domestic/hot rods or something that is just so out of this world, then we are interested in hearing from you! And if you know someone who should be in the spotlight, please pass the word on!

Now, here’s the important part: how to submit for a chance to be selected as a contestant for the Scion Tuner Challenge 2013. Send an email to: superstreet247@gmail.com with the subject “Scion Tuner Challenge 2013” and include your name, all relevant contact information (address, phone, etc.) and tell us a little bit (or a lot a bit) about yourself and why you think Scion should pick you to build a car for them. You must include photos (buildup or finished product) of past projects, as this is important when we’re dealing with a project this grand. You want to wow us, right? Then do it! We will be screening each entry for Scion and passing them on, so if you hear from Scion, you’re golden, and will receive further details on what will happen next. If you don’t, don’t be disappointed; just know that you may not receive a personal response. Multiple entries are not necessary, so one will do. Please do not contact us; Scion will contact you (if you’re one of the lucky ones)! Good luck, and we hope to see you in Vegas for Tuner Challenge 2013!
