As September rolls around and summer slowly winds down, we're reminded of two things: How much we actually miss high school and how many of you have missed the opportunity to get in Readers' Rides. While we can't go back to our senior year, we can still get your car in here before yours begins. So before you reach the age where you start ordering your Senior Super Bird from the back page of Denny's and grumble about how you wished your ride was in Super Street, get up off your ass and send in those pics. And unless you want your 10 minutes of hard work to end up in the recycle bin, don't forget all your information (reoccurring hint: see below).
In case your memory lasts about as long as an underpowered burnout and you have no inkling as to where to the send your submission, the contact info is where it is every month. Every month? Yes, every-damn-month. And that spot is right here: readersrides@superstreetonline.comor Super Street, Attn: Readers' Rides, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048. So you can stop emailing Ricky, like right now. You have no idea how unpleasant he is to be around when readers are pestering him with the "where do I send my readers' rides entry to?" questions.
This month Jorge Lopez and his JDM-ish Acura RSX is the lucky entry who edged out the competition to win IS intake system from Injen: www.injen.com.
