The Usual Suspects

Contributors, Unsavory Characters, Etc.
Wes Allison Horses Face
Wes Allison
Exactly ten years ago, a scruffy looking, long-haired surfer walked up to us and said that he would shoot for Super Street. We hastily agreed and never looked back. That surfer was Wes Allison and to this day, he's still shooting for us, including this month's Fit on the cover that looks strangely familiar.
Simon Cooke Horses Face
Simon Cooke
When we think of a dude named Simon from the UK, the annoying guy from that singing show pops into our head. You know, the one about idols in America. We can't remember the name, whatever. While that Simon is a lame judge, ours is a skilled photographer and writer who gave us the 900hp Skyline drag car this month.
Taro Koki Kyosyu Mizohata Horses Face
Taro Koki & Kyosyu Mizohata
After the whole aluminum foil-wrapped sex toy incident on our last international flight, our entire staff has had our passports revoked until further notice. Pretty harsh if you ask us. It's not like we said "bomb" on an airplane or anything. Fortunately Taro and Kyosyu were already overseas to cover the Motorsports Challenge in Nikko, Japan. Stupid metal detectors.
Elliott Moran Horses Face
Elliott Moran
Being the only surviving member of our events staff isn't all its cracked up to be. Not only did Elliott "Shrek" Moran spend his weekend sweating his green ass off in Sebring setting up our Time Attack qualifying event, we made him shoot it for us too. Because, to be honest, the humidity is killer on our hair.
Nos Can Horses Face
Nos Can
You've heard all the hype about energy drinks, but have you ever seen one that can build an entire car? Well now you have. The sick SC300 you see on the poster this month was coordinated and built by this 21-ounce bright blue can. We think that it tastes like passion fruit, but we've been hanging out at too many boba shops lately.
Jim Kosinki Horses Face
Jim Kosinki
Knowing that Shrek has only used the camera on his cell, we sent some help his way. At our Sebring Time Attack, Jim set up the camera, pointed it in the right direction, focused it, and even pushed Elliott's pudgy finger down on the shutter. He tried to rotate Shrek's body for a pan blur, but ended up throwing out a disc in his back.
