PLAN OF ATTACK to rid myself of the remaining car payments by '08

STIFF STUFF Carbing strut bars; Tein coilovers

ROLLERS 18x7 and 18x8.5 Volk Racing Time Attack Edition TE-37s; Toyo RA1 225/40R18 and 245/35R18 tires

ICE Pioneer head unit, iPod adapter, speakers, subs and amplifier

IMPRESSION Leave it stock-that was the original idea, but when wheels keep popping out of Volk's manufacturing womb, there's no other choice but to do something, even if it's minor. But that's it-just wheels, coilover suspension and a mild system. You won't be seeing this Lexus gunning for a Time Attack record or any modification that will classify it as gross polluter. That's what the 240's for.

IMPRESSION I bought this car when I thought my car life was over. I had just sold my EG and DA and was looking forward to a life without fix-it tickets, ringing ears and a bad back. But when a friend offered it up to me at a price I couldn't refuse, the idea ofgetting into a RWD sounded more appealing by the minute. Although I've spent far too much time letting it sit rather than finishing it, in the past two years it's come along nicely. At nearly half the money I've ever sunk into all my Hondas combined, my 240 has given me twice the power without the unnecessary attention.
