IMPRESSION Our original plan was to build up the Fit's factory 1.5 slug until various internal pieces externalized themselves. However, it took us longer to get Fit than planned (not enough Pilates). But scheduling conflicts forced us to strip the car and go ahead with Stage II which includes a K20 swap in preparation for Time Attack duty. When we write "us" we mean everyone who did the work for us. By the time you read this our Fit should be due to appear at the SEMA Show. Who are we kidding, it will probably be in a million pieces on the floor of some shop for months to come.

IMPRESSION Rather than spanking people in the Time Attack, this badass Supra is sitting on jackstands in the back of the Twins' shop. Soon enough, we'll complete the Triple Crown challenge that we set for them. Two down and only one to go. The 10-second street tires pass shouldn't be that hard. We'd drive it ourselves, but none of us would be able to handle a 1,000+hp car anyway. Plus we'd probably stall before we got it into the burnout box.
