Jingle bells, Nadsy smells, Jonny laid an egg... Can you believe it? It's already that time of year. Time for cups of spiked eggnog, Johnny ambushing the staff (female and male) under strategically placed mistletoe, prematurely chopped pine trees decorated with festive ornaments rotting in living rooms, and of course, the dreaded gift missions to the fight-for-a-parking-space mall.
Despite all the hassles and bah, humbug-ness associated with the holidays, we still enjoy it. Maybe it's from the lingering nostalgia for our younger years or because people are generally more cheerful around this season. It's as if the deep-rooted fear of appearing on the naughty list makes people more positive. In keeping with the spirit of holidays and our feeble attempts at landing on the nice list-all comments posted about readers' rides will be merry. Scratch that-being naughty is much more fun.
As for you readers, yes, you, the one sitting with a pen and paper in hand about to write Santa pleading him to help you get in Readers' Rides. Don't waste your time. Send them here: readersrides@superstreetonline.com; or Super Street, Attn: Readers' Rides, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048. Whether your ride is naughty, nice or a little bit of both it doesn't hurt to try. Oh, and unless you want us to throw a lump of coal in your face, make sure all entries are complete.
This month Algier Redoloza and his Mitsubishi Evo scored a Wireless Wheels remote control car (controlled by the included cell phone) courtesy of Motorola (www.motorola.com).
