Koyama Breaks Off From Jun Auto
JUN Auto, the legendary tuning shop that's turned out world record-setting time attack and drag cars, is losing its chief engineer, Susumu Koyama as he's stepping out on his own to keep the fire going in the Japanese performance world. We hear that JUN will be focusing more of its efforts on OEM manufacturing while Koyama-san would rather see cars go faster. His new shop is yet to be announced but for now, he'll be helping Team Orange's Kumakubo by staying on as their primary tuner. We'll keep you updated with his future plans as soon as they come in.
Wan More Time
If you haven't heard the amazing story of Wan Lee and his cross-country journey, then flip to " Spill the Beans" this month to see how he caused a mad Ruckus while living the traveler's dream this past year. Wan flew back to the States for the Imprint conference last fall and hooked up with Bowls LA for a special in-store appearance and celebration to commemorate his adventure. Limited edition Wan Lee tees can also be purchased through their site at www.bowlsla.com

Charles: This is Charles Trieu with Super Street, watcha doing?
Steve: Creepy Charles? Is this Creepy Chaz?
Charles: LOL, yea.
Steve: With friends, we're cruising for girls. Haha. We're going down to the beach, to go bar hopping.
Charles: On a Tuesday night?
Steve: Yup, weeknights are better than weekends. One night stands happen on weeknights! I can't even tell you what happened to me and King Kong Larry last time.
Charles: Don't you guys have work in the morning?
Steve: Unemployed. Government cheese. Government cheddar. Unemployment is paying for our drinks.
Charles: Wow, are all you guys unemployed?
Steve: Yup.
Charles: That's crazy.
Steve: It would have paid for John's hooker today too, but she didn't call us back. Craigslist's Erotic section hooks it up.
Charles: LOL. I'm glad you guys can enjoy the brighter side of losing your job.
Steve: I wish you could be here. It's gonna be crazy tonight. There's not too many Asians there, so I gotta add some yellow flavor to the mix.
Charles: Throw your yellow egg roll in the mix?
Steve: As long as I get my soy sauce out.
Charles: Hahaha.
Classic Super Street
Ah yes, the Super Street Tour in its prime. We take on the biggest road trip from points across the US and meet at the NOPI Nationals for one hell of a party and car show. Honda unveils its RWD coupe, the S2000 and Acura says "naapes" to the ITR for '99. This is actually the first appearance a young JDM Wong makes in SS and Francine Dee wows us with her incredible "bolt-ons".
Tetsu's Tales
I think Indy and NASCAR are very popular and they are top category of motorsport in USA. I am not sure Formula One Grand Prix is popular or not in USA but Formula One is top category of motor- sport in the world. We can't watch Formula One grand prix in any race tracks in USA and Canada anymore because FIA's F1 schedule doesn't say any F1 event in USA and Canada in 2009. I think many people know HONDA and Toyota take part in F1 GP. They develop V10 NA motor for F1 GP. They develop F1 motor with skill reflect developing next generation of Honda NSX and Lexus LF-A. Both of cars will have V10 motor.
