The 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI is just around the corner. Meanwhile Nissan has released a teaser image of its Sport Sedan Concept, which the automaker says, “Offers an advanced look at a future production sports sedan.” The concept is set to debut at the upcoming show.
The teaser image reveals a muscular front end, which alludes to a design direction Nissan calls “energetic.” The concept features bold styling. Headlights similar to those of the Nissan Maxima but thinner and with sharper lines can be seen in the provided images.
In a 2013 Nissan Maxima First Test, Motor Trend called the “sports car” dated, which makes one wonder if the Sport Sedan Concept is just the revamping the Maxima needs.
We don’t know much else about the Sport Sedan, other than it will makes its debut along with the Nissan IDx Freeflow and IDx NISMO concepts, which already appeared at the recent Tokyo Motor Show. Stay tuned for in depth coverage from the 2014 NAIAS.
