The 24th James Bond movie entitled "Spectre" isn't set for release until November, but a new preview gives us a good look at one of its breakout stars. In a new 60-second TV spot, the Aston Martin DB10 proves its worth as Bond's new ride.
Watch the ad below, and you'll see a DB10 leaping over another car as it drives away unscathed. But you'll also see a host of Jaguar Land Rover products in the new film, including the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR, and the legendary Defender Big Foot. Many of these cars, of course, somehow end up on fire or in danger of catching on fire.
The Aston Martin DB10 was built specifically with the Bond movie in mind. Jaguar Land Rover collaborated with movie director Sam Mendes for the car's design, and per the film's request, all eight of the DB10s have a manual transmission. While all are equipped with a 4.7-liter V-8 lifted from Aston's V8 Vantage, only some of the cars undergo stunt work and feature roll cages. Check out another video of the DB10 ready for action on the set of "Spectre" here.
Daniel Craig will star as James Bond for the fourth time in "Spectre," which will also feature Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, and Ralph Fiennes. Look for the movie to hit theaters November 6.
