Porsche was another Euro make well represented at the 2015 SEMA Show, especially 997-grade 911 and RWB-touched machines. This also made it pretty hard to choose which ones were our favorites. So we took a hard look and decided on the Top 10 - again in no particular order.
SharkWerks is well known in the Porsche performance community, and so is Magnus Walker. So when the so-called "Urban Outlaw" and Sharks come together, it's going to be a very interesting car. The SharkWerks GT2 Outlaw is a very intimidating car indeed.
The build's fame comes at a bittersweet time in Magnus' life. Just recently, his lovely wife, Karen, passed away. We pass on our condolences to Magus and the entire Walker family. I met with both Karen and Magnus personally last year; while it was brief, I knew she was a sweet person and will be sorely missed.
Champion Motorsports is a legend in Porsche tuning, so it's no surprise to find this 911 Turbo S in the H&R booth.
Right beside it was the new build from RWB and Jon Sibal.
It's a very tasteful widebody conversion and the Idlers logo was painted on all four tires that wrapped the Work Meister S1 wheels.
AFE Power has been making big strides in the industry for both on and off road. Now it looks like they want to take on the Porsche world by storm and showed off this brand new 991 that uses AFE Control Suspension - their newest entry into the automotive aftermarket. It also sports Yokohama F50 wheels in Platinum Black.
TS Designs showed off a 2016 991 Targa 4 GTS with a custom widebody kit, iPE Exhaust System, and custom Forgiato 2.0 Troppo-ECL wheels.
Giovanna Wheels had several Porsches in their booth, but this 991 GT3 RS on three piece GFG Forged FM-808 wheels was easily our favorite there. Though, really it's like picking your best son or daughter at that point.
Savani Wheels had a 991 Turbo S with a Vorsteiner VRT kit on display in their booth. It's such an amazing looking kit that Vorsteiner puts out and the SV39 wheels add a nice touch.
Coker Tire Company showed off their Firestone F560 reproduction radial tires on this classic Porsche 356A in their outdoor booth not far from the central hall.
The work under the bonnet was pretty amazing as well.
Here is another 991 VRT-kitted Porsche, but this time at the Yokohama Wheels booth. It showed off the new center-lock Advan GT wheels on Continental tires and tuning by World Motorsports.
We finish off our Top 10 Porsches with this RWB designed 911. There is just something about an extreme widebody that RAUH-Welt Begriff pulls off that is just eye catching and classic looking.
