Show us yoursGround rules:* Wait until late afternoon/ dusk/sundown (or very early morning) to shoot your car.* Find a plain background (a clean wall behind your local supermarket or school, for example) and park about 20 feet away to create some depth. Make sure there are no trees, light/telephone poles or other distractions in the shot. also, avoid parking on grass, dirt or in a parking lot with painted stall lines.* Make sure the sun is behind you.* Look in your camera's viewfinder and make sure your shadow isn't in the frame. leave some room at the edges of the frame. (don't zoom in super tight on the car).* digital photos need to be minimum of 300dpi and about 4x4 inches. your best bet is to shoot on your camera's highest resolution setting.* for best results, use a tripod. if your camera allows manual shutter settings, try shots at 1/60; 1/40; 1/30-seconds, with and without flash.* Send digital images to: editorial@hondatuningmagazine.com with the subject header: "Grassroots." send no more than 2-3 images and keep image sizes to 1MB.* Please Send Prints via snail mail to: Honda Tuning, Attn: Grassroots; 2400 E. We Like: 'Cause unless it's rattle-can black, it's something we'd never be caught dead in (even then it's a tough call). But we gotta give Brinkworth props on the paint and body. Homeboy clearly has skills. He even relocated the gas filler neck to the rear. And we dig the RSX taillight conversion. We Like: Despite the graphics and (apparently) neon strobes, we think like Josh does: "I think the old-school Hondas are the best if done right, especially the Prelude." Well that, and that Josh plans to do an H22 swap with turbo. We're waiting on those photos, Josh.

1992 Civic SiDriver: Gustavo & Veronica LopezRepresenting: Falls Church, Va.How I Spent the $$$: AEM cold-air intake; D16Y8 intake manifold; DC Sports 4-2-1 header; APEXi N1 exhaust and V-AFC controller; Ground Control coilovers; Tokico struts; 2000 Integra GS-R wheels; R34 front bumper; Buddy Club side skirts and rear bumper; Wings West spoiler; JDM projector headlamps and taillights; carbon-fiber hood and rear wing; Oh yeah, and Lambo doors; Autometer gauges; Skunk2 short shifter; MTX 12-inch subs.We Like: We're not feeling the Lambo doors or the R34 front, but to each his own. Otherwise, a sweet low-profile effort that still stands apart. The GS-R wheels are a nice touch.
