’05 Subaru WRX STI
This weekend was spent yanking the EJ25 motor from my STI. On a side note, I was able to accomplish the feat in just three hours. Wait, three hours? Not to pat my own back but I’d like to think I’m getting pretty good at pulling Subaru motors. But is this a good or bad thing to gloat about?

The Neighbor’s Cat
I went out to my garage Monday morning following a recent weekend away and this little orange fur ball jumped out at me. Seems he jumped in when I parked my car the Friday night before to escape a storm, and spent the entire weekend sleeping in the Miata, chewing on Zip Ties and salsa packets from Taco Bell, and making the most of the kitty litter I sprinkled around to soak up oil. Apparently he was quite content with it all, too—the neighbor tells me he stayed quiet the whole time. Even weirder: Some tool box drawers were left open, and after a few days I discovered that my DC2 no longer leaks oil. For the first time ever. I’m gonna lock him in there this weekend and see if my brakes get changed by Monday. I’ll leave him some Meow Mix and a drop light this time.
