God of War 2 is one of the most highly anticipated game sequels in years. After a sensational debut that won tons of "Game of the Year" awards, fans have waited anxiously for the sequel. God of War 2 rewards gamers for their patience with a fantastic new adventure that takes Kratos to places unknown as he goes to the ends of the world to conquer his foes and change the fate of gods and mortals alike.

God of War 2 proves that the PS2 still rocks as a console, showing off great cut scenes and amazing environments that are stunning, lush and very detailed. Kratos' new adventures are more action-packed than the first, and the sequel has more levels, bigger bosses and huge battles to wage before Kratos can claim victory once again. Combo moves are the ticket to defeating enemies, and Kratos gets a new set of ass-kickin' moves and awesome magical powers to take on a roster of the greatest creatures in Greek mythology. Boss battles are epic, brutal and gory, and they all lead up to a final battle of mythological proportions-and for Kratos, it's all or nothing because there are no leftovers for losers here.

Like the first God of War, it's going to take more than fast fingers and perfect combos to gain victory over these new, deadly forces and creatures like the Flying Gryphon, Cyclops and even Cerebus. Gamers need to crank on their brains because, once again, puzzles are neatly woven into the storyline and need to be solved before moving on to the next level. God of War 2 brings everything together and succeeds in turning out a great sequel that is bigger bloodier, and even more fun the first.
