One of the best features of the PS3 is the PlayStation store where cool movie promos, game demos, PSP games and downloadable games are available. One of the best downloadable games offered so far is Calling All Cars, a fun, arcade-style action game that's best played with friends. Calling All Cars comes from the people behind the amazing God of War series, and packs a tremendous amount of action and competition into a cool, little game. It's billed as a "high-octane cops n' robbers party game," and even though it is really fun to play as single player, the multiplayer action is where it's at.

The game premise is deceptively simple as gamers are bounty hunters out to capture criminals and put them in jail. The controls are even easier because it's just a matter of steering with the left stick (no need to press gas), and activating Nitro with R2 and weapons with R1. All drivers are after the same criminal at the same time, so it becomes both an offensive and defensive game as everyone battles back and forth to be the one to get the robber to jail and score the points and the reward money. When gamers are chasing the criminal to snatch him from another player, it's no holds barred as gamers get to use weapons and demolition-style driving to get the bad guy.

On the other hand, once the robber is in a gamer's vehicle, there's no fighting off other players with weapons because they become inactive. From here on out, it's up to gamers to break out those fierce driving skills and a little strategy to get the robber to jail and collect the bounty.

For a bit of variety, gamers can choose from ten different vehicles and four levels of gameplay so that it doesn't get old fast. Calling All Cars is a crazy fun game that gets better when playing friends, and if it hasn't made it into your downloadable file on your PS3, it should.
