After several years absence from the gaming scene, Capcom's Devil May Cry series returns to consoles and PCs with the fourth installment of the franchise. Demon killer Dante returns in top fighting form, but now he shares top billing with the game's newcomer, Nero. Nero belongs to an elite group of fighters called the "Holy Knights" who are part of a religious organization known as the "Order of the Sword." The Order of the Sword has sworn an oath to rid the world of evil. Conflict arises when Nero is out one day and spies Dante ruthlessly killing Nero's fellow warriors. Gamers must find out whether Dane and Nero will be fierce foes throughout, or if they will form an alliance to go after something bigger and more evil?

Dante comes packing with his trusted sidekicks, his .45s known as Ebony and Ivory, with their unlimited ammo and quick trigger action, they've seen Dante through some of his darkest moments. Equally as deadly is Dante's legendary sword, Force Edge, a mighty weapon used to slay some powerful beasts and bosses, but will it be enough against new character Nero? Nero's no chump and comes in swinging with his unique over/under double barrel handgun called, the Blue Rose, and like Dante, he also carries a sword. Nero's sword, the Red Queen, is a wicked looking beast that is equipped with an added handle that revs like a motorcycle throttle. Rev up the Red Queen and watch as flammable liquid pours over enemies and takes them to a fiery demise. Nero has the added advantage of a claw like hand known as the "Devil Bringer" which delivers the smack down on anyone that stands in Nero's way.

Don't count Dante out just yet-his new "active style change system" of fighting lets him change both fighting styles and weapons on the fly and gamers can string together wicked combos to increase his power to deal out death to all who dare take him on.

Devil May Cry 4 hits all the high notes with it's gorgeous environments, fast action fights and a sweet arsenal of weapons and combos make this game a winner all the way around.
