AMS makes history with the Alpha Omega

Jul 18, 2013

Details

  • The first GT-R to hit the 7 second range on the quarter mile
  • Called the Alpha Omega
  • Built by AMS Performance

It all started in 2001 when AutoMotorSports was formed and began developing the AMS 2.3 Turbo Ford Cam. Through the years they've been building high horsepower cars that usually break track records. A few days ago we came across this video with the next record they've broken a Nissan GT-R in the 7's. Yes this GT-R hit the quarter mile at 7.984 seconds at 186.14mph. Be sure to check out amsperformance.com for all your performance needs.
