Gran Turismo 6 GT Academy is back offering premier race simulation gamers a chance to take their skills on the sticks and use them on the track, potentially with the Nissan Nismo team. The recently released 2013 GT6 game demo, now available for download the Sony PS3 only until the end of August, offers you with various game modes centered around the famed Silverstone Circuit and the Nissan LEAF and 370Z. After completing the tutorial, you will be given 5 time trials on various sections of Silverstone with the fastest full lap being your entry time into the GT Academy. The good news: You can enter the time trial portion as much as you'd like before 3:59 pm PST on July 28, 2013.

From there, the fastest 31 GT6 racers will be invited to the National Finals where this year's Racer X winner Armen Aghakhan will join. The 32-person field will not only compete in- game, but also on track in real Nissan cars. Then the action moves to Race Camp at Silverstone with the winner gaining a chance to meet and race with the Nissan Nismo team!

The demo is open to play until the end of August, but the GT Academy competition closes Sunday, July 28 at 3:59 pm PST. All you have to do if agree to the official terms and play (bonus content included at submission and with qualifying time).
