  • Perfect for auto or home projects

When prepping for a paint job, the sanding process can be quite a mess. Leave it up to 3M to develop a revolutionary product that improves the painting experience. 3M has used its technology and expertise to resolve the number one issue in paint projects: loose dust particles. The spreading of dust can damage repairs and cause unnecessary rework if it's trapped in the paint. The 3M Clean Sand System extracts that dust during the sanding process.

The 3M Clean Sand System's unique sanding block is designed with an air control collar paired with the abrasive's unique vented design to filter particle dust and debris. The system conveniently attaches to most household or shop vacuum hoses to simplify home projects. It will include a clean sand block with an air control collar, an 8' flexible hose, vacuum adaptor, and six types of abrasive packs.

3M's abrasive technology results in smarter, smoother and safer projects. Car owners will appreciate less debris in the garage from stripping a painted car, while homeowners will find it useful for a variety of projects such as prepping walls for new paint.

The 3M Clean Sand System will only be available at select Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone stores, and Amazon. The suggested retail price for the system is $24.99-$29.99. Note that 3M sandpapers are sold separately, but are recommended with the system for better results.
