It’s little surprise to us but Lexus admitted they have a hit with the aggressive, angular LF-LC prototype. The backchannels are afire with ‘semi-confirmed’ rumors that indicate the coupe is in the production picture. Lexus VP of marketing, Brian Smith, let it drop to Wards Auto that Japan was overwhelmed by the response to the prototype and has elected to do the car. But Lexus wouldn’t admit anything beyond the old ‘studying the potential’ standby. We have no idea how the car would/will be powered; it could be anything from a big inch, many cylinder gasoline engine to a hybrid combination in the vane of the Acura NSX.
