2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe Receives Hamann Mirror GC Package

The German tuning company reveals a widebody conversion kit

While the new 2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe hasn't even had much time on the street, the German tuning company Hamann-Motorsport has already taken it and developed a widebody conversion package. Called the Mirror GC package, the kit includes body pieces, wheels, tires and an exhaust system. The aggressive lines and sharp angles give the total design a love it or hate it look but there is no denying its eye-catching factor.

Just unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Mirror GC package adds a performance-inspired front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, front wings, side skirts, rear wing (with extensions), rear spoiler and three-part center rear panel for a unique look. Helping to reduce weight is a carbon fiber hood and rear spoiler. The Mirror GC Gran Coupe package widens the body an additional 1.57in. A unique sport exhaust system adds to the note emanating from the Gran Coupe. An exhaust muffler with four black anodized tail pipes ensures sophisticated dissipation of the exhaust gases. At all speeds, depending on application, the sound varies from an aggressive growl to a more subdued purr, according to the manufacturer.

Completing the package are light-alloy rims surrounded in ultra-high performance Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R tires in sizes of 265/30 and 305/25. The rims are offered in a multitude of different sizes, designs and colors for an even more unique Gran Coupe. Sizes include 9x21" front and 11x21" rear. But don't think Hamann has left the interior untouched. In fact there are custom touches including pedals made of aluminum along with the footrests, and floor mats with the company emblem.
