The reissued Acura NSX supercar is keeping on schedule to make its showroom debut in two years time. It will be assembled in Marysville, Ohio, and is targeting a six pack of lofty benchmarks, namely the Ferrari 458, McLaren MP4-12C, Nissan GTR, Porsche 911, Z06 Vette, and Audi R8. Sounds like good company to us.
The powertrain remains the midship V6/forward-mounted electric motor combination outlined in previous reports. The design team, split between Japan and America, promises a fun-to-drive car with the throaty rumble of a sports car not the appliance-like hum of a hybrid. More power to them.
