Hurt the Dirt: Global Rallycross Lite

Oct 17, 2013

Global Rallycross (GRC) has stepped up and formed a driver development series to forge a new crop of dirt-shredding rally racers. The new series, dubbed GRC Lites, uses equally prepared cars constructed by accomplished race car builder OlsbergsMSE.

The all-wheel-drive Lites cars pump out about half the power of a big-league GRC supercar racer but have all the suspension tricks needed to rotate through the corners and handle the harrowing jumps that make the GRC must-see TV.

The ’13 GRC Lites series champion will be awarded a drive in an OlsbergsMSE Ford Fiesta ST supercar in the main series, while the top three points finishers will receive a supercar test with OlsbergsMSE.
