Honda Returns to Formula 1

Honda and McLaren are reuniting in Formula 1 competition starting with the ’15 campaign. It seems recent engine package rule changes have made Honda’s transition back into F1 more attractive (Honda President and CEO Taknobu Ito and McLaren’s Martin Whitmarsh pictured). The series is moving to turbocharged 1.6L V6 powerplants with direct injection and energy recover technology.

The challenge set by Formula 1’s new technical regulations provides Honda with the perfect opportunity to return to the pinnacle of motorsport.
