Performance upgrades are the highlight of the M accessories lineup. These include an M Carbon- Ceramic Brake System, which features brake rotors made from carbon ceramic composite, which are able to withstand higher heat resistance while reducing weight (by 42.8 lbs) and prolonging resistance to wear. These are offered in conjunction with 20in M light-alloy wheels and features 16.1in front brake discs and 15.6in rear brake discs. These further ensure a more sporty and dynamic driving experience with better stopping power and less weight.
When not using the M Brake System, acceleration sounds even more incredible thanks to an M Performance Exhaust System, developed jointly with Akropovic (an official partner of BMW Motorsport). As expected from this high-end exhaust manufacturer the entire system is made from titanium, which reduces weight by more than 22 lbs while also resisting heat and corrosion. The freer breathing setup will also add performance to back up the improved exhaust note.
While you hear and feel the performance upgrades on your newly accessorized M5 or M6, the interior gets some nice additions as well. An alcantara leather steering wheel and race display are available. The display is integrated into the top center of the steering wheel rim and provides the drive with important information such as a gearshift indicator, lateral and longitudinal acceleration values and laptimer. Additionally, carbon trim for the shift lever of the double clutch transmission, carbon interior trim, stainless steel pedals and M Performance floor mats are available. The exterior can also be customized with carbon mirror caps and M Performance high-gloss black front grille.
If you already own one of these powerful Ultimate Driving Machines why not make it stand out from the crowd with some M performance and style upgrades?
