Mazda Concept Details:
- Sneak peek of Mazda Concepts for SEMA 2013
- No tech specs revealed
- Four different concepts announced, including the CS6 Diesel
- Details to come live from SEMA
It’s not uncommon for car manufacturer’s to tease information on their SEMA concepts, and with less than a week to go before the show commences Mazda falls into such category. It’s not until now that we’ve received official images from Mazda revealing its concept cars, devoid of any tech specs.
This concept looks to be a variant of the Mazdaspeed3 hatchback sporting a white paint job with red and black accents, along with blackened wheels. It’s got the same black side mirrors and rear spoiler. However, unlike the 2013 Mazdaspeed3 that is currently in production, this concept is missing a hood scoop and features a smaller grille.
Slap some blackened wheels and a front lip on the current 2014 Mazda3 and you’ve got a concept that looks like its evil twin brother. Meaner and more low-slung, it appeals to the darker side of us.
The Mazda 6 concept looks sophisticated in white, with silver wheels and window trim – it’s also got body-colored side mirrors.
The Mazda CS6 Diesel concept is the most unique of the bunch, sporting a gray paint job with blacked out wheels and side mirrors. A European-spec Mazda 6 Diesel already exists, and Mazda has promised to bring one to the states. Better fuel economy? Yes, please.
We are looking forward to checking these concepts out in person once SEMA rolls around, which is pretty soon. Stay tuned for more details.
