Nissan’s EV DeltaWing to Electrify 2014 Le Mans

Oct 24, 2013

Nissan unveiled its wicked ZEOD RC (Zero Emission on Demand Racing Car) and confirmed this electric racer will make its race debut at the ’14 Le Mans 24 Hour.

The innovative ZEOD RC, the world’s fastest electric racing car, is capable of attaining speeds of more than 180 mph with electric technology. The car will compete under the ACO’s “Garage 56” entry, a special spot on the grid for vehicles that showcase new and innovative technology.

Nissan’s DeltaWing raced under a black cloud, as it crashed out of its Le Mans debut and a subsequent follow-up race, but the automaker hopes for a more sunny reception in 2014.
