November/December 2013 Initial Timing - Killing It

That's exactly what I think when I see this issue's cover. It's not easy finding the dopest cars out there every issue. We have to compete with a ton of websites, our own sister magazines, as well as a bunch of magazines outside our company--all trying to scoop up the same cars. Nonetheless, we are here again with the dopeness.

This issue we have one badass S13 with so much swag you really can't deny it's cool. Built up to be the ultimate street, track, and show car, this well-rounded 240SX is the epitome of what all of us want out of a car--everything. Keeping it wild, our photographer Dax Rodriguez and the car's owner shot the car on the Vegas strip! We had so many good images that it was difficult to select which few made it to the magazine. We'll be putting the rest of the photos from the shoot on our website once the magazine is off newsstands.

To top off the cover, we finally got a chance to shoot Dannie Riel. We've been talking to Dannie for the longest time, but our schedules never aligned to allow us to work together. If you haven't been to a car show in the last year, Dannie Riel is the "it girl" right now. When she's at a car show you will see 100 people in line to get her autograph. And after meeting the French/Chinese girl from Canada you will know why people are so obsessed--her personality and enthusiasm for the industry really shines through.

We need more cars and girls this cool.
