The NSX has gone from turning on showroom floor pedestals to turning hot laps on a road course. Talk about dramatic changes. Acura dropped this buzz bomb via social media, and the gist of it is an announcement that the NSX will make its motoring debut at Mid-Ohio during the Honda Indy 200. The significance here is this is a new prototype fitted with the production-bound powertrain—a mid-mounted V6 and electric drive motors in the rear and electric motor-only motivation for the front wheels. We especially like how the car is referred to as the 2015 NSX…it has such a nice ring to it.
