For those who have their hearts set on the new 2015 Subaru WRX or WRX STI, the Japanese automaker has just revealed pricing information so prospective buyers will know how much they'll need to save before they arrive in showrooms this spring. The WRX starts at $27,090, while the WRX STI starts at $35,290 (including destination, which is $795 in most states).

Available in standard, Premium, and Limited trim levels, the WRX is powered by a turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder from the Forester XT, which makes 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, as is a 4.3-inch multi-information screen that displays the back-up camera, boost gauge display, and Bluetooth connections. The WRX Premium, which starts at $29,290, throws in heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, windshield wiper de-icer, moonroof, foglights, and a trunk spoiler. If that's not enough, the WRX Limited steps it up a notch by adding leather upholstery, 8-way power driver's seat, illuminated door sills, and automatic LED headlights. The Sport Lineartronic CVT, which replaces the automatic transmission, is an extra $1200 for Premium and Limited models. Other add-ons include a $1500 package with navigation, hands-free keyless entry, and push-button start. Add $1000 and you get a Harman/Kardon audio system.

If that still leaves you wanting more, there's always the WRX STI. The STI comes with a more powerful 2.5-liter turbo-four that makes 305 hp, in addition to other exclusive goodies. The STI treatment means a unique hood, fenders, doors, bumpers, headlights, taillights, and a front hood scoop. Foglight surrounds with a carbon fiber-like pattern, Alcantara seating surfaces, and a full aerodynamic package are all included on the standard STI, which starts at $35,290. Other standard features include everything the WRX Premium has. For Subie purists, there's the STI Launch Edition, which comes painted in the distinctive Blue Pearl exterior paint and rides on gold-finished 18-inch BBS wheels. Inside, the Launch Edition gets a unique interior, STI short-throw shifter, keyless access, and push-button start. The STI Launch Edition is priced at $38,190, and only 1000 units will be available. Last but not least, the WRX STI Limited adds leather seats, moonroof, 8-way power driver's seat, and a Harman/Kardon audio system for $39,290.

Earlier this year, Subaru announced the WRX STI would get a 5-horsepower boost for 2019. No, it wasn’t much, but at least the STI would no longer be outgunned by the turbocharged four-cylinder Mustang. Subaru’s latest special edition STI, however, comes with a much less underwhelming boost in power. It’s called the WRX STI TC 380, and
