Rembrandt Bugatti was the brother of brand founder, Ettore Bugatti. Historic 20th century sculptor, Rembrandt’s famous dancing elephant art piece is immortalized on the Veyron’s special edition radiator and used throughout as the brand’s logo.
“Rembrandt Bugatti had a special talent for capturing the movement of animals at their most expressive moment,” said Achim Anscheidt, Head Designer at Bugatti. “The patina, the soul and the crafted character of his bronze sculptures guided us to the color and material choices in the Legend car that carries his name.”
Further separating this Legends model are the light brown Cognac and Coffee colors used on the leather interior complimenting the bronze-colored carbon exterior. The lower portion of the bodywork features a light brown called Noix, which is also used on the wheels alongside a dark Firefinch brown.
The big question is who will purchase the three examples of this special edition: Rembrandt Bugatti (1884-1916) art connoisseurs or motor heads?
