The Super Street Network is proud to announce its first annual Top Speed Shootout competition to occur at Minter Field airstrip in Shafter, CA on October 18, 2014. Presented by Continental Tire, 26 of the fastest street-qualified entries, broken into three classes (AWD, FWD, RWD), will line up two-wide and drag race a half-mile. The highest top speed in each category will win. Registration is now open.

Qualified entries must be able to prove registration, ownership and title. Non-registered race-dedicated cars need not apply. To enter, email - Write "Top Speed Shootout entry" in the Subject line. All entries must include full car specs and a recent photograph(s).

Super Street and european car magazine will each hand-pick 8 competitors, equaling 16 of the total 26 entries. 10 exclusive openings will then be left for the top user submitted builds.

Feature in magazine, digital event coverage on social channels and website, along with prizes for class winners will be awarded to the 26 lucky invitees kicking off our first Top Speed Shootout. If you have a straight-line monster, registered for the street, enter now! Stay tuned for more info.
