Can you feel it? It's that time of year again - the season for time attacking boys and girls to dust off their track cars and make their way to the American Tsukuba, Buttonwillow Raceway Park in central California, for the one and only Super Lap Battle x Global Time Attack (GTA) grand finale presented by Continental Tire.
Registration is now open for the benchmark Japanese-styled time trials, which is scheduled for Friday, November 14, on Buttonwillow's CW13 configuration. Teams from all over the continent have already confirmed, and a full house is expected. Classes for Enthusiast, Street, Limited and Unlimited FWD, RWD and AWD vehicles will again be offered; for a full rundown of rules for each group, visit www.globaltimeattack.com/2014-rules/.
For those thinking about going to race, GTA will be having a warm-up event this Saturday, October 18, at Willow Springs International Raceway. Registration for GTA's Pro-Am Round 4 can be found here.
Sign up now to reserve your spot, because space is limited. This is a one-day event; however, there will be a practice day available for $200 on Thursday, November 13. To reserve your spot for the 2014 Super Lap Battle, head over to the GTA website. There you'll also find a full accounting of prizes, awards and racer benefits - good luck!
