The latest parts, the craziest builds, the hottest models, parties night after night? Yes friends it's that time of year when car enthusiasts flock to the city of sin Las Vegas for the annual SEMA convention. It's easy to see why it's regarded as the Super Bowl for gear heads. Celebrating its 12th year at SEMA, Gran Turismo will be hosting its GT Awards and Party. The event highlights the unique collaboration between video games and auto industries.

Automotive trendsetters and leading journalists will be judging five different categories. This year Super Street will be judging Best Asian Import. Last year's winner went to the Greddy x Scion Racing x Ken Gushi's 2JZ-powered FR-S that later became his drift car for the 2014 Formula D season. Soon after, one vehicle from the five category winners will have the chance for the Best in Show Award which will be selected by Gran Turismo creator, Kazunori Yamauchi. Additionally the winning car will have the opportunity to become a playable vehicle in a future Gran Turismo game.

If you think your car has what it takes to be in the most realistic racing simulator ever sign up at 2014 Gran Turismo Awards.
