Furious 7 Trailer Hits the Web

It's not how you stand by your car...

The "Furious 7" trailer just hit the web this past weekend, and already everyone is buzzing about all the wild and crazy sheetmetal previewed in the 2.5-minute video. And if you thought the stunts from past "Fast" movies were physics-defying, wait until you see what the newest sequel has in store.

Even though the trailer is less than 3 minutes, it's packed with action and cars. In the last film, four cars cooperated to bring down a humongous cargo plane on a never-ending runway. The seventh installment looks to top that with a parachuting Dodge Challenger, Subaru WRX STI, and Jeep Wrangler. Exotics including Ferraris, Bugattis, and Audi R8s are featured later on in the trailer when the crew appears to be on a mission to take down the bad guy in the Middle East. Toward the end of the clip, the Lykan Hypersport, an ultra-exclusive ride from Dubai-based startup W Motors, makes an appearance for a second. We reported the supercar was estimated to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and cost around $3.4 million.

Like the rest of the "Fast and Furious" movies, we expect "Furious 7" to make waves at the box office, especially since the movie pays tribute to the late Walker, who died in a car crash last year. We previously reported that this movie's insurance claim may be the largest in movie history, considering all the production delays and the great deal of special effects used to replace Walker in the film.

With 14.3 million views on the YouTube trailer as of this writing, you can likely expect a big reaction from fans when the movie is released on April 15, 2015. Check out the trailer in the video below, and see if you can name all the cars in the clip.
