Jaguar has created its second all-new chassis that underpins the new XE, which uses an abundance of aluminum in hopes to better compete against the lighter 3 Series. Under the hood, a 340-hp supercharged V-6 powers the new XE, giving the BMW's 300-hp turbocharged V-6 a run for its money.

But has the automaker gone too far from its sporty roots with the latest model? After commentary on the BMW, Lieberman gets behind the wheel of the all-new 2016 Jaguar XE S, of which he has only good things to say.
