On this week's episode of "Head 2 Head," host Jonny Lieberman pits the segment-defining 2015 BMW 335i M Sport against the new 2016 Jaguar XE S. Spain's Basque Country and its winding roads provides the testing ground to see which sport sedan will come out on top. Will the Jaguar be the one to finally dethrone the BMW?

Jaguar has created its second all-new chassis that underpins the new XE, which uses an abundance of aluminum in hopes to better compete against the lighter 3 Series. Under the hood, a 340-hp supercharged V-6 powers the new XE, giving the BMW's 300-hp turbocharged V-6 a run for its money.

Hitting the winding streets, the 2015 BMW 335i M Sport is up first. The 3 Series is the benchmark in this segment for a reason, providing a sporty drive and luxurious interior. But has the automaker gone too far from its sporty roots with the latest model? After commentary on the BMW, Lieberman gets behind the wheel of the all-new 2016 Jaguar XE S, of which he has only good things to say.

While the sport sedans may be more similar than originally thought, only one can be the victor. Did the Jaguar dethrone the BMW? Check out the video below to find out. After that, check out our full comparison story here.
