Watch - World's Greatest Drag Race 5

10 performance cars and a quarter mile straight line - find out which is quickest.

For the past five years, we've brought you the automotive battle royale we like to call "World's Greatest Drag Race." It's how we cap off a week of testing and evaluation for our Best Driver's Car competition, and it's always a good time. You've gotten to know the contenders over the past week, and now it's time to see which one is quickest in a straight line. That's right, it's time for World's Greatest Drag Race 5.

With heavy hitters like the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Mercedes-AMG GT S, Cadillac CTS-V, and Bentley Continental GT3-R, you know this will be a good race. As a refresher, both the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V are powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, which make 650 hp in the Z06 and 640 hp in the Caddy. The AMG GT S makes 503 hp from a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8, while the Bentley GT3-R makes up to 591 hp from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 thanks to an overboost function. Given the Corvette's horsepower advantage over the rest of the field, smart money would be on "Big Nasty" taking home the win. But as senior features editor Jonny Lieberman points out in the video, the Z06 is a manual, which means it'll be harder to launch. The Bentley also has the advantage of all-wheel drive.

Of course, there are six other cars in this race, including the Lexus RC F, Cadillac ATS-V, Mercedes-AMG C63 S, Porsche Cayman GT4, Volkswagen Golf R, and Mazda MX-5 Miata. Who will win? Kick back, crank up your speakers, and brace for epic in the video below.
