We don't have to tell you that the new Gran Turismo Sport for the Sony PlayStation 4 is the most realistic, badass racing simulator to date. After all, we've waited years for it to come out! But fashionistas and hype beasts beware, this weekend, your favorite video game is teaming up with a few of your favorite streetwear brands. You're going to want to wait in line for this one...
The PlayStation Experience (https://www.playstation.com/en-us/campaigns/2017/playstation-experience/) kicks off in Anaheim where Gran Turismo will be unveiling its collaboration with Anti Social Social Club, A Bathing Ape, and Undefeated. Using Gran Turismo Sport's Livery Editor (https://youtu.be/YSC71aOaZGM), each lifestyle brand applied their aesthetic to a vehicle in the game. Anti Social Social Club coated a McLaren 650S in their distinctive pink hue, Bape applied their signature ABC green camo on a Mercedes-AMG GT S, and Undefeated cloaked a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in a military-inspired olive treatment the brand is known for. Of course, if you want to make a statement, why not imitate these builds in real life, which is exactly what they did. You'll be able to see the wrapped McLaren, AMG GTS and GT3 RS at the Anaheim Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, each brand has designed a limited capsule collection of apparel. Anti Social Social Club has a hoodie, T-shirt and hat, all in pink. Bape's collection is comprised of a hoodie in black and grey colorways, a T-shirt in white and black, and a sticker. Undefeated will offer a hoodie and T-shirt, both in black.
Both Bape and Undefeated's pieces will be available at the PlayStation Gear Store at PSX 2017, as well as at Bape's New York store and undefeated.com. Anti Social Social Club collab will only be available on their website, shop.antisocialsocialclub.com.
