2015 Gran Turismo Awards Registration Open

This is your chance to have your car digitally immortalized as a playable vehicle.

Oct 30, 2015

As most of you know, SEMA week is around the corner, and just like last year PlayStation will be hosting its 2015 Gran Turismo Awards at the Marquee situated in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Didn't get an invite? Super Street has your back. RSVP at wednesdaynightsocial.com.

The competition is based on five different categories: Domestic, Hot Rod, Asian Domestic, European, and Truck/SUV. The award goes beyond a trophy, as the winning car will be digitally immortalized in Gran Turismo.

If you have a vehicle on display at SEMA, enter it to be judged by an expert from the respective category. Category winners are then judged by Gran Turismo's creator himself, Kazunori Yamauchi. If Yamauchi-san selects your vehicle for Best in Show, it will be reproduced digitally and included in a future edition of Gran Turismo, the popular racing simulator.

Last year Jeremy Gerber's '70 Chevy Camaro with a 750hp LS7 dominated the competition. But we can't forget Ernie Manansala's Rocket Bunny GT-R, which put up a good fight and ended up taking home best Japanese award.

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Entries will be accepted until November 1, 2015 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. Register here. We'll see you at Marquee!
