The 2018 McLaren 570GT sports car gets a fancy new Sport Pack to bring it more in line with the 570S. Carbon-ceramic brake discs are now standard, but optional upgrades include the dynamic handling package that adds several suspension modifications.

"The McLaren Sports Series is already recognized for bringing the excitement and race-derived technology of a supercar to the luxury sports car market, a reputation that was further enhanced by the recent introduction of the 570S Spider," said Jolyon Nash, McLaren marketing director, in a statement.

"The changes for 2018 make every model in the range even more compelling; customers attracted by the McLaren blend of lightweight, carbon-fiber construction, and mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged V-8 engine combining to deliver thrilling performance, can now choose from an even wider range of colors, materials, and features."

Nash continues, "Additionally, with the new 570GT Sport Pack, we have reacted to market requests for a 570GT with the driving dynamics of the 570S Coup . This optional handling package gives the same chassis setup as the Coup , while retaining the luxurious features, luggage space, and looks of the 570GT."

There are five new Design Edition packages in numerous shades and interior combos—plus, there's an optional driver-controlled variable-tint electrochromic panoramic roof.

The roof utilizes an electric current to trigger a change in the opacity of the glass which comes in handy on hot, sunny days.

One of the most common flexes among the biggest automakers is to squirrel away examples of their best and rarest work over their history to eventually show off those pieces as an anthology. Not long ago, we received a glimpse at a new exhibit at the Honda Collection Hall in Japan, and much deeper in

Roll racing is having a moment – or at least it was before COVID hit and shut down a year’s worth of events. The motorsport phenomenon that we first noticed through the likes of Texas2K two-plus decades ago and a few other copycat events around the country since had some momentum heading into 2020 before

In order to get the full story of Garage Active, and its animated founding father, you would need more than just a single feature. In all honesty, you would probably need something along the lines of the Lord of the Rings sized trilogy, complete with all of the spin-offs, behind-the-scenes extras and perhaps even that

From the Editors of SS: Well, well, well, what do we have here? Our Monday morning became a whole lot more interesting waking up to the announcement of a new V-8 Lexus IS, the IS 500 F Sport Performance – but do not call it an IS F. While it uses the same 2UR-GSE mill

As a color choice, we don’t generally see a lot of turquoise on tuner cars; it seems to be a hue favored more by bejeweled sun-loving grandmas with leathery skin rather than Japanese car fans. But the dazzling sheen on Jimmy Tu’s Chrome Turquoise 2015 Nissan GT-R is kind of mesmerizing and possibly the perfect
