500HP TJIN Edition RoadShow Genesis Coupe for SEMA Announced

Neil Tjin’s first Hyundai rocks a Vortech blower, Rotiform 19s, custom green color, and more

Oct 26, 2015

The magic horsepower number appears to be 500 – as in, if you get a vehicle from Hyundai to build for a 2015 SEMA Show project (like ARK Performance, Blood Type Racing, and Bisimoto), it should make at least that much (sorry, John Pangilinan).

The last of Hyundai’s SEMA teases represents what the Tjin Edition Roadshow has on tap, namely a Genesis Coupe set up to make more than – you guessed it – 500 ponies. This is Neil Tjin’s first official Hyundai build for the Las Vegas trade show happening Nov. 3 to 6, and to make the power he employed a custom Bisimoto assembled Vortech kit to supercharge the Genesis Coupe’s 3.8L Lambda V-6.

Other bits worth noting include KW coilover suspension, one-off Baer x CBA Extreme Plus brake calipers, and Rotiform 19-in. 3-piece HUR wheels shod in Falken FK345 rubber. Unique Fabrication supplied a custom front lip, rear spoiler and custom trunk lid, and the exterior was finished in a custom Kylie Tjin Axalta green paint job.

Complete specs are below, and the real deal will be revealed at Hyundai’s SEMA press conference on November 3 at 11:30 a.m. PT. Follow #HyundaiSEMA to keep up to speed on all of this year’s SEMA activity, and stick with us to see all the pics shortly after wraps come off.

It's been 21 years since the last generation of the Toyota Supra. This version will be the fifth generation and officially named the A90, but people will often refer to it as the MkV, as well (us included).
