It’s going to be epic. The replacement for the Lamborghini Murcilago will be the most powerful car the company has ever made, thanks to a 700-hp V12. It’s not all about power, however. Lamborghini will be making pushrod suspension technology—inspired by Formula One—available in a street car. The result, according to Lambo, is "razor-sharp handling... a steering system that can think its way through a bend... lateral stability that ensures absolute safety even at the very highest speeds... motorsport feel with long-distance comfort." The bit about thinking its way through bends we’ll take with a pinch of salt, but throw in aluminum double wishbone suspension parts and carbon-ceramic brakes, and it’s still an intriguing idea.
