Second victory of the season: Ola Nilsson wins at Brands Hatch
Perfect tactical use of the push-to-pass system, flawless performance: The Swede Ola Nilsson has secured victory at the seventh race of the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup season in front of last year's "vice champion", Jann-Hendrik Ubben. Also on the podium: leader of the standings Mateusz Lisowski, who thus defended his top position in the standings. Junior Cup driver Moritz Oestreich finished fourth as his best result of the season so far. Ex-Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert was the best Legend. He finished fifth overall and took revenge in this year's duel with Mark Blundell (22nd place). Also on the Legends grid: ex-Formula 1 driver and TV star Tiff Needell (12) and the three-time British Rally Champion Mark Higgins (19).
British Formula 3 Championship
Nasr secures title hat-trick for Volkswagen
The race weekend of the British Formula 3 Championship at Rockingham was marked by Brazil. Thanks to third place at the third round Felipe Nasr from Team Carlin triumphs in the excellent junior formula series. Nasr is already the twelfth Brazilian to win the title in the British Formula 3 Championship. He follows in the footsteps of subsequent Formula 1 stars like Ayrton Senna, Emerson Fittipaldi or Nelson Piquet. As early as at the first race Nasr's compatriot Pietro Fantin clinched his debut victory. The Hitech Racing driver relegated the two Carlin drivers Rupert Svendsen-Cook and Jack Harvey to second and third place. At the second race Felipe Nasr managed the leap onto the podium as the runner-up. At the third race the new champion only had to admit defeat to his Carlin team-mates Kevin Magnussen and Pietro Fantin. Besides Nasr in 2011, Daniel Ricciardo (2009) and Jean-Eric Vergne (2010) were unbeatable thanks to Volkswagen Power in previous years.
ATS Formula 3 Cup
Stanaway extends lead of the standings and grabs rookie title
At the seventh race weekend of the ATS Formula 3 Cup Richie Stanaway was again on the track of success. After the commanding front runner from the Van Amersfoort Racing team had finished the first race as the runner-up, he celebrated his tenth victory at the 14th race of the season in his Dallara Volkswagen. In addition, he secured an early title win as he can no longer be bumped from first place in the rookie classification. His brand colleague Tom Blomqvist (GB) from the Performance Racing team and his team-mate Hannes van Asseldonk (NL) finished both races in third place, respectively. Four races before the end of the season Stanaway is leading the standings with a 29-point advantage.
Wehrlein catches a whiff of the title win
Fortune for the front runner: At the 16th race of the Formel ADAC at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz Pascal Wehrlein, thanks to a slip by the leading duo Mario Farnbacher and Artem Markelov, celebrated his eighth victory of the season. The two front runners had to sit a drive-through penalty, which cleared the track for Wehrlein. Second and third place were taken by Maximilian Buhk and Kean Kristensen. At the second round the Motopark team from Oschersleben was the measure of all things. The Dane Kristensen celebrated his third triumph this season. His team-mates Mario Farnbacher and Artem Markelov followed in second and third place. Due to insufficient weight Farnbacher was temporarily taken out of the classification after scrutineering. Wehrlein again benefited and moved up to third place. His biggest rival, the Briton Emil Bernstorff, finished all three rounds empty-handed.

Lee Thompson and Kosie Wyers win at East London
The strongest driver at the sixth race weekend of the Polo Cup South Africa was Lee Thompson. One victory at the first race and second place at the second race at East London went to the South Africa who thus secured overall victory of the day. At the second round Kosie Weyers triumphed. Leader of the standings Devin Robertson clinched third and fourth place.

Double victory for Robert Wolk
With a double victory at the sixth race weekend of the Formula Volkswagen South Africa at East London Robert Wolk continued to extend his lead of the standings. Second place at the first race went to Jayde Kruger in front of Ernie van der Walt. At the second race Simon Moss and Jayde Kruger completed the podium.

Walker and Chaplin win at Rockingham
At the ninth race of the Volkswagen Racing Cup season at Rockingham (GB) the Golf drivers James Walker, Richard Walker and Aaron Mason clinched the top three places. Steve Chaplin in the Beetle decided the second race of the weekend in his favour. He relegated Joe Fulbrook (Bora) and Aaron Mason in the Golf to second and third place. For Beetle driver Chaplin this was already the fourth victory of the season.
