The new McLaren MP4-12C Spider is gorgeous. Most of the time, if the roof comes off, we’ll choose the coupe variant. For starters, they just tend to look better and more fluid, also, you save some weight and maintain better structural rigidity, which in turn makes for a better handling car, and you know, so we’re all race car drivers, that means a lot.

However, the MP4-12C Spider looks aggressive with the retractable hard-top secured, and menacing without it, especially in a sideways sprint around a sweeper, leaving a trail of smoldering rubber.
